Notes:This collection consists of approximately 330 nineteenth- to twentieth-century Arabic lithograph digitized from the original printed books. Most were published in Iran and India; Egypt, Turkey, and the Levant are also represented. In addition to the research value of their intellectual content, the texts are an invaluable resource for the study of printing press and page design, exemplifying the bridging role between manuscripts and typescripts.
