University of Chicago Library News: The College
November 2012
All campus libraries are closed on Thanksgiving Day. Regenstein, Manuseto, Crerar, and the D’Angelo Law Library reopen on Friday. Check library hours before visiting, as some campus libraries and departments remain closed over the holiday weekend.
In celebration of Thanksgiving, the University of Chicago Library has created an online research guide all about turkeys. From turkey economics to the Turkey Trot, the guide highlights print and online items in the Library’s collections about America's favorite bird.
The Regenstein Library is now open on Fridays and Saturdays until 11 p.m. The Mansueto Library stays open on those nights until 10:45 p.m.
Lockers on Regenstein Library’s upper floors are now available for rent from the ID & Privileges Office at $10 per quarter or $35 for four quarters.
Do you need assistance finding sources for your research assignments? Schedule an appointment with a librarian, who can provide advice on how to locate the best good sources for your topic.
