Thanksgiving Weekend Hours

All Campus Libraries are closed on Thanksgiving Day. Regenstein, Mansueto, Crerar and the D'Angelo Law Library reopen on Friday. Check Library hours before your visit, as some libraries and departments remain closed over the holiday weekend.

Want to Learn a New Language? Try Mango!

The Library is now subscribing to Mango, an online language learning system that can help you learn languages like Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, German, Japanese, French, and...Pirate. Arrrr!

Research Help Available by Appointment

Have you searched Lens and JSTOR, but are still struggling to find information for your final paper or project? Schedule an appointment with a librarian who can provide advice on how to locate the best sources for your research topic.

Move Beyond Wikipedia: Online Reference Sources

The Library's guide to online reference sources will direct you to trusted, academic reference sources including dictionaries, thesauri, encyclopedias, and style manuals available to UChicago students. Why use Dictionary.com when you can access the complete OED?

Featured Collection: The Chicago Jazz Archive

The Chicago Jazz Archive, in the Special Collections Research Center, spans more than eight decades of Chicago and general jazz history. The collection includes recordings, publications, photographs, articles, posters, programs, and other ephemera of musicians, clubs, record companies, and jazz organizations.
