"As a graduate student, finding resources in a timely manner is important. I find the services and scholarly resources of the Library allow me find what I need."

The Library Fund: Annual Fund

The Library Fund directs your gift to the Library's Annual Fund. Donors who want to express their love of books, support of the Library's mission, or show their appreciation for what the Library means or meant to them as students, researchers, or faculty are invited to make gifts to the Library Fund. Because Library Fund gifts are unrestricted, they help the Library meet funding priorities and give the Director an opportunity to put your gift to use where it is most needed. Contributions in any amount to the Library Fund help the Library continue as a world-class academic research institution.

Library Society Membership

The Library Society is the friends group of the University of Chicago Library. Online gifts to The Library: Library Society support a broad range of activities including the Library Society's yearly programs and dinners, rainy-day bags that protect books during inclement weather, and special requests from curators for exhibition materials. Anyone who makes a gift to the Library Society at the $100 level ($20 for students and $40 for staff/faculty) becomes a member of the Library Society. For more information about Library Society events and membership benefits at different levels, please visit the Library Society web site.
