Accessing linked articles for non-University of Chicago users

Links on faculty bibliography pages lead to resources licensed by the University of Chicago Library. Access to our licensed databases is limited to University of Chicago students, faculty and staff. Links on the faculty bibliography pages go through the University's proxy server, which requires a current CNetID for access.

As a convenience to vistors to our site, we have displayed the direct URL to articles. Many of these articles will be available through other college and university libraries. You will need to copy the URL and paste it into your browser's address bar rather than clicking on the link. Check with your local library if you have questions about whether your library offers access to a resource.

We are unable to grant access to outside users due to the license agreements that we have with our database vendors. We are also unable to provide copies of these articles due to copyright restrictions.
