This database utilizes the RefShare feature of RefWorks, a web-based bibliographic management tool available to current students, faculty and staff of the University of Chicago. The database contains journal articles published by members of the faculty of the Graduate School of Business. Individual faculty bibliography pages include books, working papers and other publications. The database includes full time faculty who were at Chicago beginning with the 2004 - 2005 academic year. It does not reflect retirements and departures. Individual bibliographies are updated more frequently than this database.
Tips on Searching
- Search by Author
- Records were imported from a wide range of online databases and author names aren't always consistent. Use the advanced search under the search tab to find specific authors. You can also use the Lookup by Author feature but this may miss some references.s
- Search by Publication
- Use the Lookup by Publication option under the search tab. Journal names have been standardized, making this an easy way to see the number of articles published in a given journal.
- Accessing Articles
The Library's Find It! service is enabled in RefWorks. University of Chicago users can click on the Find It! button to check for online access through the Library.- Publisher's URLs:
Publisher's URLs are included in references when available. Click on view in any reference to see these. Many other universities subscribe to these soame sources and users not affiliated with the University of Chicago may be able to get access in this way. - Access for users outside of the University of Chicago
- This database is accessible to any web connection but access to linked articles is restricted to current students, faculty and staff of the University of Chicago. These are also accessible at other instituitions that have licensed these resources using the publisher's URLs. Other users should contact their local library regarding access to publications.

- Print in bibliography of any number of articles. Select from almost 500 different output styles
- Create Bibliographies
- Select references and format them as bibliographies. This gives you the option to save your bibliography as a web page or in a word processor format
- Export to a Bibliographic Management Tool
- Export references directly to your own RefWorks account or download in a format that can be imported to EndNote or other software.
