- Contains five databases for regulated depository financial institutions. These databases provide accounting data for bank holding companies, commercial banks, savings banks, and savings and loans institutions. The source of the data comes from the required regulatory forms filed for supervising purposes.

- The Mergent Fixed Income Securities Database (FISD)is a comprehensive database of publicly-offered U.S. bonds. FISD contains issue details on over 140,000 corporate, corporate MTN (medium term note), supranational, U.S. Agency, and U.S. Treasury debt securities and includes more than 550 data items. The database also covers ratings changes by the major credit rating companies.
- Mergent Online
- Financial data, equity pricing, debt data and annual reports for publicly traded companies worldwide. Up to 15 years or quarters are available.
- Mergent WebReports (Moody's Manuals)
- Online archive of the Moody's/Mergent Manuals. These include company financial and debt information, officers, subsidiaries and capital structure. Coverage begins in 1909.
- Mintel Reports
- Market research on consumer markets. Mintel focuses on the U.S. and U.K. but does produce reports on other
European and Asian markets from time to time.

- Polling the Nations

- ProQuest Digital Dissertations and Theses
- Indexing and abstracting of dissertations and these written at Universities across North America with some international coverage. The full text of most dissertations written from 1997 to the present is available through the database.

- Index and abstract database that covers over 15,000 journals. Coverage of business and economics is best for 1996 - present. Includes information on cited references and articles that have cited other articles.
- SDC Platinum Mergers & Acquisitions
- Detailed information on mergers and acquistion activity worldwide. Includes company financial data, advisors and fees and other data.

Wharton Research Data Services (WRDS)
GSB Faculty and Ph.D. students may sign-up for an account through the Account Registration link on the WRDS web page. Use your GSB email address during sign-up, or we will not be able to pass your account information on to you. MBA students will receive access only through a generic account updated each quarter. The logon account will be sent to registered student a week before the start of the quarter. Students must contact the helpdesk to obtain the password ((773) 702-7414, helpdesk@gsb.uchicago.edu).

Access is restrcted to current students, faculty and staff.
You must register with Mintel before you receive full access to the database. Registration allows you to save searches for later use but will not allow you to access Mintel from off-campus without using the proxy server.
