Annual Reports	Our guide to finding annual reports in mutiple formats.
Business Source Complete	CORE RESOURCE Click on the "Company Profiles" to access Datamonitor company profiles of public companies. These profiles include an overview, key facts, history, key employees and competitors, locations and subsidiaries and SWOT analyses.
Bloomberg	Earnings, balance sheets, cash flow and debt/equity analysis, ratios, and public filings. Accessed via special PC's in the Hyde Park Center and Gleacher Center student labs.
Compustat GSB restricted, accessed via WRDS	More than 300 annual and 100 quarterly Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Statement of Cash Flows, and supplemental data items on more than 24,000 publicly held companies. This is a better source for historical data as current filings are not included.
CRSP (The Center for Research in Security Prices) GSB restricted, accessed via WRDS	CRSP data files contain comprehensive security price information and indices for NYSE, NASDAQ and AMEX firms, government bonds, mutual funds, and financial and agricultural futures. Financial statement information is also available through COMPUSTAT, an S&P database. Click here for details. Available through for WRDS.
Datastream Advance user guide DSWindows user guide	Accessible in Regenstein Library Reading Room (first floor, workstation A-9) and the Hyde Park Center and Gleacher Center Computer Labs. Datastream provides a database of global financial and economic information with comprehensive, historical coverage on over 140,000 securities and instruments from markets worldwide. The database provides up to 40 years of history, including coverage of equities, indices, economics, commodities, forex, interest rates, fixed income instruments, and derivatives. Allows you to evaluate investment opportunities and corporate performance, compare international markets, analyze fund holdings and manage portfolios.
Factiva	CORE RESOURCE Click on the "Companies/Markets" tab at the top of the screen to access basic information and articles on US and international companies. Output daily stock prices for last 2 years, weekly and monthly prices for the last 5 years.
Hoover's Company Records via ProQuest	Company profiles, histories, key financial data and competitor lists. Tip: use the advanced search to search by company name or ticker to limit your results.
Investext	CORE RESOURCE Analyst reports from over 450 investment banks and 150 trade associations.
LexisNexis Academic	The "Business" section includes U.S. and international sources for public and private company information including Hoover's Company and Industry Reports, Standard & Poor's Corporate Descriptions, Standard & Poor's Register of Corporations, and the US Business Directory. Most 10-Ks and proxies go back to 1987, other financials vary. Compare companies on criteria like sales, employees, location and net income.
Mergent Online	CORE RESOURCE Fully searchable data on publicly traded U.S. and international companies, this is the best source for current financial statements. Provides company history information, property, subsidiaries, officers, directors and detailed financial information. Particularly good for financials on banks. Features an easy Excel export feature. Mergent WebReports have historical information on directors, officers, subsidiaries and other non-financial information.
Mergent WebReports	Full archive of the Moody's/Mergent Manuals. These collect information on publicly traded U.S. and international companies. Includes financial statements, bond information, capital structure, subsidiaries and officers and directors. Information is only available as Adobe PDF documents. No data can be extracted to Excel.
OneSource Business Browser	CORE RESOURCE Current information concerning public and private companies located in the U.S. and abroad. Includes company profiles, analyst reports, articles from newspapers and trade journals and company financial statements.
ReferenceUSA	Directory database that covers businesses and individuals in the U.S. and Canada. Search by industry, sales, number of employees, geography and more.
Standard and Poor's NetAdvantage	Company profiles, investment analysis and forecasts.
Thomas Register	A resource for information on industrial products and services. Good for finding a listing of public and private companies by product and/or for a manufacturers address and phone number. Free registration lets you create and save custom searches.
Thomson Research	CORE RESOURCE Primary source for SEC filings 1996-present. Also includes information on institutional and insider ownership.
Value Line Investment Analyzer	Updated monthly, it outlines company financial information intended to help investors make informed decisions that fit their individual goals and level of risk. It forecasts stock price performance relative to other stocks and provides interpretive analysis of about 1,700 individual stocks and over 90 industries. Includes historical information. The most recent CD-ROM edition is located on the first floor of Regenstein Library at workstation A-11 in the First Floor Reading Room. Previous disks can be checked out from the Circulation Desk - call number: CDRom HG4501.V263. The most recent paper edition (updated weekly), is available in the First Floor Reading Room(HG4501.V26).
