Federal Reserve Information and Links
The Federal Reserve serves as the central bank of the United States. In this role it collects a great deal of economic information about the country. It also produces research on the economy. There are two central repositories of information, FRED and the Federal Reserve Board statistical releases. Individual bank sites contain information on the regions that they serve as well as information on the national economy.
FRED
(Federal Reserve Economic time-series Database): provides historical U.S. economic and financial data, including daily U.S. interest rates, monetary and business indicators, exchange rates, and regional economic data for Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri and Tennessee.
