DOSE (Dictionary of Substances and their Effects)

The DOSE database contains data on 4123 chemicals which have been studied for environmental impact or toxicity, and provides all the required information for the assessment of risks associated with the use of those chemicals. Searches are constructed using a form with options to query by free text, chemical name, molecular formula, or molecular weight. Limits are available to restrict results to those containing physical properties, environmental fate, toxicity, occupational exposure, legislation, etc. May also search using standard identifiers like CAS Registry Numbers, RTECS /EINECS numbers, etc.
