You Are What You Eat: Nutrition and Health

The exhibit looked at the eating habits of Americans, from the 19 Century to the modern day. The introduction and evolution of healthy eating, food fads and diets had been highlighted using selections from the John Crerar Library's historical culinary arts and food sciences collection as well as from contributions by staff members.

This exhibit was on display from February 7-June 11, 2005 in the atrium of the John Crerar Library at the University of Chicago.

Questions about the exhibit should be directed to Barbara Kern, University of Chicago, 773-702-8717, or by e-mail to bkern(at)uchicago.edu.
