Elementary Battle of the Books

Welcome to the 2011 CPS  Battle of the Books
Online Qualifying Competition!

Grades 7-8

 Each team must complete and submit this quiz by 3:55PM in order to receive a qualifying score.  Be careful not to hit the enter key during the quiz. The enter key will submit your quiz. If that happens by mistake, begin the quiz again and select your school’s name, then continue the quiz from the place you left off when your quiz was submitted.  Click “Submit” when you are done.

Guidelines

1. Team members should discuss each answer and the team captain should make all final answer decisions.
2. No books or notes should be available.
3. Points will not be taken off for spelling or punctuation.
4. An alternate may be rotated in after round 1 or 2 during the mandatory 2 minute breaks.
5. Before submitting the quiz, press your printer icon to print your questions and answers.
6. Work as a team of 4 to 6 people and have fun!

Teams can expect to receive their score via coach’s e-mail by next Friday.
