- The University of Chicago Library offers quarterly
borrowing privileges to faculty from CIC
institutions.
- Check the list of CIC
institutions to see if your institution is a participant in the
program.
- There are unique arrangements for CIC institutions within the
Chicago area. (University of Illinois at
Chicago and Northwestern
University.)
- Faculty from participating institutions should contact their
local university library to obtain a CIC Library card.
- Bring this card, your valid university ID and a current photo
ID (if your university ID does not have a photo) to the ID & Privileges Office.
- Privileges staff will verify your status and provide you with a
University of Chicago Library Card.
- The Library Card is good for access to the library buildings
and for quarterly borrowing privileges.

C
- The University of Chicago Library offers quarterly
access privileges to students from CIC institutions.
- Check the list of CIC
institutions to see if your institution is a participant in the
program.
- There are unique arrangements for CIC institutions within the
Chicago area. (University of Illinois at
Chicago and Northwestern
University.)
- Students from participating institutions should bring
verification of their current enrollment status along with their
valid university ID and a current photo ID (if your university ID
does not have a photo) to the ID &
Privileges Office.
- Privileges staff will verify your status and provide you with a
University of Chicago Library Card or day passes.
- The Library Card is good for access to the all the library
buildings on campus.
