Materials can be checked during all hours that Eckhart Library is open. A current University ID or library card is required to check out or renew materials.

• Books and conference proceedings circulate according to the Quarter and Indefinite loan periods.
• Bound journals circulate for 7 days and are not renewable; overdue bound journals incur fines at the rate of $3.00 per day.
• Unbound journal issues circulate for two hours.

All materials except reserve items should be returned to the Circulation Desk drop box during library hours; reserve items should always be returned directly to a circulation staff person. After hours, all materials can be returned using the two exterior bookdrops; one is located immediately outside the entrance to the Library, and another can be found outside the building in the archway between Eckhart and Ryerson Halls.
