Library users may now choose to receive Library notices via e-mail, rather than through postal mail or faculty exchange.
Faculty wishing to receive all Library notices (including recall, overdue, and hold notices) by e-mail should write us at email@example.com">firstname.lastname@example.org or notify a Circulation Supervisor at any of the campus libraries. Requests will be acknowledged, and printed copies will no longer be sent to those who request this service. However, the e-mail service can be suspended by request if a faculty member would like to receive print notices while on leave or during semester breaks, for example.
E-mail notices are faster and more reliable than conventional mail. We are very pleased that Horizon, the Library's integrated system, allows for this feature.
