Manuscript in several hands, with cooking recipes. Inscribed in 18th century hand on endpaper: "In dieser Buch hatte mein Vater seelinger[?] einige arcana gezeichnet, welche ich auzgeschnitte, und in mein receptenbuch geschrieben hab, und bin [xxx] in dieser aller [xxx] hauftige[?] Dinge zu notieren, der von den Anfang gemacht 1715. / Georg Christopher von Aeckern von dem wohl löblichen des herrn Obrist von Radings Regiment bestelter Regiments feldscher Nastätten [xxx] x br. 1715." Dealer's listing pasted in. Ex libris: "Dr. Max Thorek, 1924," and "Philip Thorek." Bound in vellum.
