This is a collection of slides on the process of ship construction. The images provide instructional diagrams for the general production process of ships in regards to the typical welding sequences and compliance to federal standards. Some types of the nautical vessels imaged in production include a destroyer, cargo vessel, DWT tanker, and luxury ships. Images of ship launchings, trial runs, and models of living quarters within the ship can also be found in this collection. There is also a single slide predicting the design for nautical vessels of the future.
