Cornelius James Hoebeke was originally from Kalamazoo, Michigan. In September of 1893, Hoebeke began attending the University of Chicago. He received a B.A. on April 1, 1895. Hoebeke continued at the University during the Spring of 1895, and again in the Summer of 1902. No further degree was conferred.
The Cornelius J. Hoebeke Papers consist of five letters (1893-1895) written by Cornelius Hoebeke to his cousin Cornelia Hoebeke while he was a student at the University of Chicago. Also includes a graduation photograph of Cornelius.
