Standley Howell pursued a Ph.D. in music at the University of Chicago and worked as the Public Service Assistant in the Regenstein Library. He currently works at the Harold Washington Library Center.
The Standley Howell Collection contains a copy of the book Glenn Miller’s Method of Orchestral Arranging, piano instruction books, music scores, and sheet music.
