  Approximately 265,000 volumes, including the Rare Book Collection, Ludwig Rosenberger Library of Judaica, John Crerar Collection of Rare Books in the History of Science and Medicine, Helen and Ruth Regenstein Collection, and Encyclopaedia Britannica Collection of Literature for Children.
• Manuscript Collections
  Comprising 5,502 linear feet of material, including New Testament, medieval, and Renaissance manuscripts; English court and manorial documents of the Bacon family; collections on nineteenth-century American history; editorial files of Poetry: A Magazine of Verse; and records of atomic scientists' organizations and the world federalism movement.
• University Archives
  Holdings totaling 26,473 linear feet, including administrative records of the University of Chicago; papers of faculty members, trustees, administrators, and other individuals; records of student activities; publications; photographs; oral histories; audio, film, and video; and memorabilia.
