• The First American West: The Ohio River Valley, 1750-1820
  15,000 pages of historical material documenting the land, peoples, exploration, and transformation of the trans-Appalachian West. Drawn from collections of the University of Chicago Library and the Filson Historical Society, Louisville, Kentucky.
• Goodspeed Manuscript Collection
  The Goodspeed Collection of New Testament manuscripts comprises 65 Greek, Syriac, Ethiopic, Armenian, Arabic, and Latin manuscripts ranging in date from the 7th to the 19th century. The Library is creating high-quality digital images of each of the manuscripts in the collection. Two have already been completed and can be viewed: the Rockefeller McCormick New Testament (Ms. 965); and the Archaic Mark (Ms. 972).

  Photographs, letters, publications, and other archival materials documenting Philip M. Klutznick's multi-faceted life and career as a pioneering community developer, philanthropist, United Nations representative, U.S. Secretary of Commerce and leader of the American and international Jewish community.
• Rose & Chess: Le Roman de la Rose & Le Jeu des échecs moralisé
  Two medieval French manuscripts separated a century ago, Le Roman de la Rose and Le Jeu des échecs moralisé, have been reunited by the University of Chicago Library; digital facsimiles of both manuscripts are available online.
• The Speculum Romanae Magnificentiae Digital Collection
  In 1540 Antonio Lafreri began publishing maps and other printed images depicting monuments and antiquities of ancient Rome. After the mid-1570s, collections of these prints came to be known as the Speculum Romanae Magnificentiae, the "Mirror of Roman Magnificence." This site presents the Univeristy of Chicago's collection of 994 Speculum Romanae Magnificentiae engravings dating from the sixteenth to the eighteenth century.
