Marie Louise Rosenthal Seminar Room

Group Study
A group study room in the Special Collections Research Center allows small groups or classes to consult materials together. It can be reserved in advance by calling 702-8705.

Manuscript Search Room
The Manuscript Search Room contains resources related to the study of manuscripts. In addition to manuscript facsimiles, there are paleographical works (call numbers between Z105-Z115), and printed catalogs of manuscript holdings of libraries (call numbers between Z6601-Z6625).

Exhibition Gallery
A regular series of exhibitions drawn from the collections is on view in the Special Collections Exhibition Gallery and in the exhibition cases of the Ludwig Rosenberger Library of Judaica.

Reference Area
Special Collection maintains an in-depth, non-circulating reference collection on open shelves that includes the department's finding aids to archival and manuscript collections. There are three public workstations and access to CD-ROM databases such as American Book Prices Current and the Illustrated Incunabula Short Title Catalog.
