ProQuest Digital Dissertation includes abstracts for over one million dissertations accepted at accredited institutions mainly in the United States, but also in Western Europe since 1861. Dissertations from the University of Chicago are now included. Proquest Digital Dissertations corresponds to Dissertation Abstracts. You may download the full text, in PDF format, of dissertations published since 1997.

Obtaining Dissertations

The Interlibrary Loan Office has information about borrowing or purchasing copies of dissertations from the Center for Research Libraries, other libraries, or University Microfilms International (UMI).
