Jimmy Granato was a well-known Chicago clarinetist who played "traditonal" or "Dixieland revival" style jazz with Art Hodes, Jimmy Durante, Smoky Stover, and many others.
His meticulously documented collection consists of scrapbooks filled with photos, autograph material, memorabilia, reviews and publicity clippings, as well as some sheet music for traditional jazz tunes.
