GeoRef is an index covering geological literature, with citations and abstracts from journals, conference proceedings, technical reports, and books. Covers North America since 1785 and other areas since 1933.
- Web of Science (Science Citation Index)
Provides access to current and retrospective multidisciplinary information from high impact research journals, including cited reference searching.
- Scopus
Interdisciplinary bibliographic database that indexes the contents of several thousand journals in the sciences, including earth and environmental sciences. Scopus also features cited references and can be searched for articles that cite a specific article. (For use with the Mac Papers application, you will need a Scopus ID.
- Zoological Record
Searchable database of over 6,500 international journals, review annuals, monographs, meeting proceedings, books, reports, reviews and electronic documents, including extinct (fossil) organisms, making this an excellent resource in paleontology.
- EndNote information
Information about filters and connection files for using geophysical sciences references with EndNote bibliographic management software
- RefWorks
Information about using library databases with the library provided web based bibliographic management tool RefWorks
