  • African American Biographical Database Entries may be searched by categories, such as occupation, gender, state of origin, or by keywords appearing in the text.

  • American National Biography Portraits of more than 17,400 American men and women from all walks of life. To use click on the "Subscribers Enter Here" button on the upper right corner.

  • Biographical Archives. "Library holds "biographical archives" for most countries and regions of the world. These are microfiche compilations of entries found in biographical reference works published between 1646 and the 1980's, listing in total millions of entries. Entries are arranged in alphabetical order, and further indexed in part by World Biographical Index web site, and in part in accompanying indexes."

  • Canadian Health Obituaries 19th-20th centuries
    The Osler Library for the History of Medicine, McGill Univeristy has, for many years, maintained an "obituary file" of Canadian medical obituaries and death notices. This file is an INDEX which refers researchers to the full obituary. This file does not contain the actual obituary.
