Converting your RefWorks Account

Converting your RefWorks Account to your CNetID

The Library is changing how you login to your RefWorks account. You will now use your CNetID and password rather than a separate RefWorks account.
If you have an existing RefWorks account, you will need to perform a one time process to link it to your CNetID. Here's how to do that:

1) Login to RefWorks using our University of Chicago specific link. This will open in a new window or tab so that these instructions remain visible.
Login with your CNetID and password when prompted. If your RefWorks user name matches your CNetID, you're all finished.

2) On the next screen, select "Automatically Login to your RefWorks Account from your University"

3) On the next screen, enter your OLD RefWorks login in the Login name and your OLD RefWorks password. Enter the security code that's displayed and click "register".
You should now be logged in to your existing RefWorks account.
