Office 2007 on Library Workstations

Office 2007 and older versions of Office

Office 2007 uses new file formats that are not compatible with older versions of Office. You can open and edit documents created in earler versions of Office.
You must save documents created with Office 2007 in Office 97-2003 format if you want to edit them in an older version.

 

Microsoft has conversion software that enables you to open documents created with Office 2007 in older versions. Download from Microsoft's web site:
