Course materials can be books, articles, videos, DVDs or any other item that an instructor wants students to review for his or her class. Since course materials are in high demand, some items are placed physically "on reserve" at the Library. Reserve items can be checked out for a short loan from the Library (i.e. two hours, four hours, or 24-hours). Articles or chapters of books on reserve are available electronically and are commonly referred to as E-Reserves.
