The ARTFL Project

This beta release of the PhiloLogic implementation of the Le Corpus des oeuvres de philosophie en langue française is based on automatic conversion of the XML encoded dataset provided by Editions Bibliopolis. In the course of conversion, we detected several problems, which will be corrected in the next release.

• Four documents have been withheld from this release because the source files were truncated. These documents are:

  • La Popelinière, Lancelot du Voisin de [1599], L' idée de l' histoire accomplie (Editions Bibliopolis, 1998) [LPplnr,L:L]
• Some Greek passages have been deleted from searching and display and other Greek passages display in a romanized character set.
• Some page breaks, alternate pagination markers, and note links were marked as paragraphs and thus break proper phrase, sentence, and paragraph searching.
