Please fill out the form below to register to use the Opera del Vocabolario Italiano database. When you have completed the form, click the "Submit" button to send your registration information to ItalNet. You will receive a brief email acknowledgement with a temporary password and instructions on how to access the database using the "full-text search form."
Please note that there is currently no charge for using the database, although in the future we may establish a modest subscription fee for institutions and independent researchers. By providing us your registration information we will be able to contact you in the future to give you and/or your institution an opportunity to subscribe. If desired, we will also keep you informed of upgrades and improvements to the OVI database and other ItalNet products and services.
Finally, note that if your institution subscribes to ARTFL, access to the OVI database is included in your subscription. In that case, you can use the ARTFL search form for full-text access to the database without having to enter a password. Nevertheless, we would appreciate your registering with us just the same so we can inform you personally about upgrades.
