Assistant University Archivist
Eileen has been an archivist for almost 30 years. She is responsible for collection development, management, rights and restrictions, and increasing intellectual access to university archives and manuscript collections in the Special Collections Research Center. She is happy to speak with departments, faculty, student groups and community organizations, who are interested in placing their files, whether paper or electronic, in the archive. Eileen also provides reference assistance to administrative units, faculty, students and visiting scholars for collections that range from University history, sociology, astronomy, student activism, Chicago Jazz Archive, Manhattan Project, Abraham Lincoln, urban planning, and anthropology.
