At the Forefront of COVID-19 Knowledge: UChicago Medicine and the Library Work Together

Join us in marking the Reg at 50 with a Virtual Library Lecture on February 23. Our program will feature:

  • Vineet Arora, MD, MAPP, Herbert T. Abelson Professor of Medicine, Assistant Dean for Scholarship and Discovery, and Associate Chief, Medical Officer for Clinical Learning Environment;
  • Maggie Collison, MD, Clinical Instructor of Medicine;
  • Deb Werner, Director of Library Research in Medical Education; and
  • Kaitlyn Van Kampen, Kathleen A. Zar Clinical Library Resident.

Our University of Chicago doctors and librarians will come together online to explain how the Library and the Medical Center have joined forces to gather and share the latest research on COVID-19, for the benefit of patients, clinicians, researchers, medical students, our local community, and the world.

The Library hopes that you, along with friends and family, will join us for this timely event while marking the Reg at 50 and recognizing the importance of the Library in the current situation of the world around us.
