Welcome to orientation season! The Library is excited to welcome back returning students and meet the incoming Class of 2028.
The Library is participating in the following orientation events:
O-Week
- Tuesday, September 24: Graduate Resource Fair, 1–3:00 PM, Ida Noyes
- Wednesday, September 25: Orientation Resources Fair, 10–1:00 PM, Ida Noyes
Orientation Tours
- Saturday, September 28: Drop-in Tours of Regenstein and Mansueto’s Reading Room, 11-2:00 PM.
Welcome Week
- Wednesday, October 2: Academic Opportunities Fair, 3–6:00 PM, Main Quad
- Thursday, October 3: Wellapalooza, 12–3:00 PM, Main Quad
- Friday, October 4: Student Activities & Resource Fair, 3–5:30 PM, Main Quad
For further assistance, from September 23 through October 4, we will staff a Welcome Table in the lobby of Regenstein Library from 1–5:00 PM.

Library Workshops
The Library also has many upcoming workshops, all of which can be found on the Library’s events calendar. Popular workshops on Zotero, Endnote, Latex with Overleaf Pro will be returning, and we’ll have some new offerings focused on AI. Register today!
In addition, the Library is launching a new workshop series called Research Refresh, aimed at providing instruction on various research tools for both undergraduate and graduate students. The series includes:
