Books, prints, and other materials from the collection of Earl J. Hamilton, Professor of Economics at the University of Chicago, 1947-1967, are displayed in this exhibition, organized by Bill Pugh. The Hamilton collection features works on the history of economics, chiefly on the development of commerce and trade in England, France, and Spain during the 17th and 18th centuries.
