The James Franck Papers in the University of Chicago Library consist of over 28,000 pieces, including correspondence, scientific manuscripts, personal documents, and memorabilia. Marking the completion of processing of the collection, this exhibition is also the occasion for a public symposium, "The Socially Responsible Scientist and Public Policy," sponsored by the Center for Policy Study of the University of Chicago.
