This book is a compilation of two out of print titles: Cocoa and Chocolate: A Short History of Their Use, 1886 and The Chocolate Plant and Its Products, 1891. This edition includes wonderful photos of the Walter Baker & Company chocolate factory as well as cacao farms in West Indies and Ceylon. The Caribbean and Sri Lanka remain important growing regions for cacao.
