Theodor Herzl (1860-1904), founder of the political Zionist movement in Vienna in 1895 and widely considered the father of modern Israel, is the subject of this exhibition prepared by Felix Tweraser. Selections from the Rosenberger Library illustrate Herzl's Viennese period, his major works, contemporary reception of his ideas and his legacy.
