Forty Feet Below : the Story of Chicago's Freight Tunnels

This is a complete history of the Chicago Freight Tunnels. These pages show blueprints for several of the locomotives used in the tunnels. The locomotive shown on the left page at the top is the Class 15 3-ton constructed in 1905. The author of this publication states that "no photographs of this smallest of tunnel electrics are known to exist."
