The Charles B. Anderson Fake Books Collection contains a master fake book and verse-chorus fake book, which are used as informal cues by performing musicians and as tools for learning. There are indexes for both the master fake book and verse-chorus fake book. The song data book system created by Charles B. Anderson is a comprehensive master fake book and verse-chorus fake book that contain traditional jazz and popular music from 1870-1970. The 1920s are the central focus of the collection.
