Abstract: | Shorey House was the first University of Chicago undergraduate residence to become co-ed. Additionally, the on campus Festival of the Arts (or FOTA) was started by Shorey House residents and Shorey House alumni began to organize and attend house, rather than class, reunions. |

The scrapbook is composed of photographs, memorabilia, and text. In addition to documenting everyday life at the residence, the scrapbook includes photographs and biographies for many of the residents.
