Webinars for Instructors

The Library has some pre-recorded workshops and webinars for instructors that highlight services that support teaching.

These webinars are from Fall 2020 and may not reflect all current services.

Library Services for Remote and Hybrid Teaching (17 minute webinar)
This webinar provides a brief overview of the Library's teaching and learning services, including online course reserves, student access to the Library’s ebooks and ejournals for assigned readings, help guides and modules to integrate research support into your Canvas courses, and ways librarians can help you and your students.

Library Services to Support Teaching (42 minute recorded workshop)
This program provides a comprehensive overview of Library services that support teaching. Learn to design research assignments students can successfully complete in an online environment. UChicago librarians will share ways to create assignments or projects that make effective use of the Library’s online resources, including ebooks and ejournals, audio/visual resources, and primary source collections—even rare books and archives from our Hanna Holborn Gray Special Collections Research Center. We’ll also highlight ways librarians can teach your student effective research skills via live or asynchronous programs.
