Located in the Special Collections Research Center (SCRC), Chicago Jazz Archive collections are used in the Center's Reading Room on the First Floor of Regenstein Library.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
- The 2008 JazzFest Heritage Music Weekend will take place August 2-3, 2008 at the South Shore Country Club, one of the city's most beautiful outdoor jazz festival venues.
- Kelan Phil Cohran and the Legacy of Sun Ra Aug. 14, 2008 at 6:30pm. This free concert is part of the Made in Chicago jazz series taking place this summer in Milennium Park's Jay Pritzker Pavilion. Presented by the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs, Millennium Park, and the Jazz Institute of Chicago.
- Schedule for the 2008 Chicago Jazz Festival
- The Hyde Park Jazz Festival is scheduled for Saturday Sept. 27, 2008. Check the official website closer to the date for details and the schedule.
- The Jazz Showcase lives! Its new home is Dearborn Station, 47 Polk St., in the South Loop; here's the schedule and directions. Joe and Wayne Segal are now booking a mix of local musicians and out-of-towners that should prove stimulating!
- Video is available from the Sun Ra symposium, Traveling the Spaceways, which took place at the Hyde Park Art Center November 11-12, 2006.
- Online exhibit, Harvey Lang: A Life In Jazz". The exhibit showcases a selection of materials collected by Chicago drummer Harvey Lang and generously donated to the Chicago Jazz Archive by his children.
