Includes holograph copy of the original dedication: "To His Excellency Benjamin Franklin, Esq., President of the Supreme Exceutive Council of Pennsylvania, The Friend and Benefactor of Mankind, The following Oration is respectfully inscribed. By his grateful friend, And Humble servant, The Author [Benjamin Rush]." Bound in brown buckram.
