Robert L. Evensen graduated from the University of Chicago Graduate Library School in 1974. After graduation, he worked as the Creative Arts Librarian at Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts and retired as Associate University Librarian.
This collection consists of posters and comic books from the Chicago group, the Hairy Who. The Hairy Who was a group of six Chicago artists who exhibited together during the mid-1960s. The group was made up of Jim Falconer, Art Green, Gladys Nilsson, Jim Nutt, Suellen Rocca, and Karl Wirsum.
