Eckhart Reference Services

Reference service is provided at the Circulation Desk in Eckhart Library.   Reference questions may also be sent to Jennifer Hart, the Interim Eckhart Librarian, via phone (773-702-7569), e-mail (hartj@uchicago.edu) or by using the  Library's  Ask a Librarian service.

The print reference collection, located in the Reading Room along the north wall, includes dictionaries, encyclopedias, directories, and handbooks.  Many information sources in mathematics, statistics, and computer science are available electronically.  Links to these resources can be found in these three subject guides:
