Campus Libraries

The University of Chicago of Library consists of six campus libraries that serve the University community. All are open to staff for research and study.

• D'Angelo Law Library: U.S., foreign, and international law
• Eckhart Library: Mathematics, statistics, and computer science
• Joe and Rika Mansueto Library: Interdisciplinary, automated storage and retrieval
• John Crerar Library: Science, medicine, and technology
• Joseph Regenstein Library: Humanities, social sciences, business
• Social Services Administration Library: Social welfare, social work

Most University staff members are eligible for access and borrowing privileges.

Use the Library Online

It is possible to conduct research from virtually anywhere using the Library's extensive collection of online journals, books, and digital images. If you have an internet connection, sign in to the system using your CNetID and password or UCHAD credentials (Medical Center employees).

Printing/Photocopying/Scanning

 Multifunction printers/scanners/photocopiers are available at all campus libraries.

Attend Library Training Classes

Would you like to learn more about the Library, its resources, and how to use them to better advantage? Librarians can design a workshop specifically for you and your work group--at your office or in the Library. Examples of classes include an EndNote workshop for secretaries in one department, or a demonstration of research databases for staff engaged in a particular kind of research.

• Arrange for a Library training class for your group or department.
• The Library holds open training sessions and workshops throughout the year. Upcoming workshops are posted to the Library Workshop and Events Calendar.
