Conservation encompasses actions taken toward the long-term preservation of cultural property. Conservation is responsible for planning and managing a comprehensive program that provides an extensive range of physical treatments for the Library’s collections including basic stabilization, intermediate repair, and complex conservation treatment for paper-based materials in both general and special collections. |
