Publications from the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) are available in several of Library databases. In most cases there is a delay from the date of publication (called an embargo) to the date that the full text is available in the database.

 Accessing publications in Business Source Complete

The Country Reports and Country Profiles are included in the Library Catalog. Do a title browse for the publication title with a country name, e.g. "Country Profile Argentina". In some cases, multiple countries are included in a report. Try the advanced keyword search if you can't find your country. There are links in the Catalog to the full text in Business Source Complete.
You can also find these publications in Business Source Complete by choosing advanced search and then Country Reports, under publications.

Accessing publications in Factiva

Use the source selection tool and search for EIU. This will bring up the full list of EIU publications. Our guide to searching specific publications in Factiva has more information on how to select a publication. These publications can not be browsed; a keyword search for a country name in the headline will find the most relevant articles.

In Print

The Library has many other EIU publications in print, including many Country Profiles and Reports published prior to 2000.
Find these in the Library Catalog. Use the advanced search. Search for Economist Intelligence Unit as author and country name or other keywords.
