research in a variety of subject areas at the University of Chicago.

- Materials Properties Locator Database. Developed by the Science and Engineering Library, SUNY-University at Buffalo.
- This database helps to identify handbooks and other reference sources in the UB Science & Engineering Library collection which contain specific material properties data. The online database can be searched by keyword or combinations of keywords and phrases. The records in the database describe the scope and organization of each reference work and the materials and properties covered. - MatWeb provides free materials property data for over 19,013 generic and commercial engineering materials, including polymers, alloys, steels, ceramics, superconductors, and other metals. Users can search by common name, trade name, name fragment, composition, application, or property requirements.
